DESCRIPTION: Make a magazine ad. Given text.
CHALLENGE: Embodying the company which seemed more classic and traditional along with trying to embody the sense of "emotional" design that my company Essedicom holds.
Golden View Open Bar Web Mockups

DESCRIPTION: Given Logo and a general color scheme. Menu had already been made - wanted a website that could be paired with it.
CHALLENGE: Logo's not the prettiest object to work with, so I only used part of it. Tried to create something appealing to the general audience, through colors and an easier navigation. Old website found here.

DESCRIPTION: Window display for their stores throughout in certain stores in Italy
CHALLENGE: A window display using only cardboard as the material for eco-friendliness purposes. Exhibition Design. Thinking in 3D has always been a challenge from me ever since DES 185, I’ve realized it’s a whole different level of design creative thinking.

CHALLENGE: After familiarizing myself with Aftereffects from the previous project. My challenge to myself was to have a lot of fun with this one to reflect the strong fan base of Java Lovers.

CHALLENGE: Taking an art piece, bringing it on the computer, and making it into a graphic design product. More to manipluate later.

DESCRIPTION: Given the cover design and font choice. Executed CD album design basing it off the cover art. Includes insert, CD tray, and CD.
CHALLENGE: Unique look. Fitting all the information on without breaking the cohesive and conservative look.

DESCRIPTION: Branding the identity of an annual hip hop competition hosted down in UCSD.
CHALLENGE: Creating an identity that was satisfactory to a group of 20 people and embraced everything they embodied in this competition.

DESCRIPTION:Movie is about the struggle of 3 strong women nicknamed "Las Mariposas" (butterflies)and their fight against a dictator government of the Dominican Republic in the 1900's.

Final business card design. (2007)
Part of my final type project for DES 115 (2006). Starting with the restrictions of only using 9 point font, regular Futura, we had to create 9 layouts a week and each week we were given more and more freedom. Above is samples of weeks where we had the least amount of restrictions so my mind was free to create what it pleased. Overall it was a fun quarter long exercise that demonstrated that you could do many things even with many restrictions.

Type poster depicting what I embody as my home. The design is based off of the collage I created on my wall back home - a collage of different pictures, pieces of art work I did, and postcards and gifts from all over the world. Home is my collection of memories. Created for DES 116 (2006)

A larger collage poster for my DES 16 class. (2006) The project was to choose a literature/art genius who has already passed away and create a photoshop collage poster honoring the creative mind's work.
